My Body is the Music- Fusion Bellydance to POLYPHIA

Polyphia is a Texas-based instrumental progressive rock band formed in 2010. The quartet features guitarists Tim Henson and Scott LePage, bassist Clay Gober, and drummer Clay Aeschliman. They are globally recognized for blending virtuosic, flamenco, and math-rock guitar shredding with modern hip-hop, trap, and EDM beats.
The band’s name stems from the musical term polyphony, which emphasizes that all instruments share an equal and collaborative role in their compositions. Their genre-bending sound is often described as "making rap music through guitars".
So now you're all clued up with your knowledge on Polyphia in this workshop we will be looking at musicality and listening to all the different parts in their music and how I work with that in my head to create it through the body. We will take different parts to create sharp and fluid combos and transitions- making our bodies the music!
From that with our bodies now working as the instruments we will be doing a short choreography to one of my POLYPHIA favourites G.O.A.T.
This workshop is open level but I'd suggest have some dance experiences as there will be some challenges!
