MVMAC Indoor Flying - Meerscheidt Rec

The Mesilla Valley Model Airplane Club (MVMAC) will be sponsoring an indoor contest on Saturday, June 13 from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the Meerscheidt Recreation Center at 1600 N Hadley. The contest will be open to all AMA (Academy of Model Aeronautics) members and will involve four different events. 1: Minimum time to fly 5 figure eight laps in the gym. 2: Maximum time to fly 3 figure eight laps in the gym. 3: Aerobatics 4: Limbo - fly through a decreasing sized hole. This will be a food/fund raiser for Casa de Peregrinos Food Pantry. All entrants and spectators will be encouraged to donate a “canned” food item or financial contribution to this charity. Everyone is welcome to observe this fun event.
