Join us on Monday, May 11th at the Rome Art and Community Center for the Mohawk Valley Bluegrass Association May Jam with the Band featuring Last Minute Bluegrass.Last Minute Bluegrass isn’t just another bluegrass band—they are a living celebration of all forms of American roots music. They remind us that great songs, whether born in the roots of Fiddle and Banjo music, or Classic Rock, take a new life with the Bluegrass Sound. From Flatt and Scruggs to the Grateful Dead you can expect a lively show with some new takes on classic numbers.
The concert will start at 6:30 PM followed by a Bluegrass jam session where anyone who plays acoustic Bluegrass instruments can join in, so bring your instruments!
$5 Donation at the door, Drinks available for a donation.
Biography:
The Band features a traditional Bluegrass lineup of Bill Fahy on guitar and Mandolin, Mark Zappavigna on Guitar and Dobro, Matt Weber on Banjo, Zach Hirst on Fiddle, and Dave Shannon on Bass. All members take a turn on the vocals. From Flatt and Scruggs to the Grateful Dead you can expect a lively show with some new takes on classic numbers.
