Join Not Your Average Book Club for an unforgettable evening celebrating the release of Mutual Discord, Liana De la Rosa’s first contemporary romance!
Taking place during Hispanic Heritage Month, this immersive release party is inspired by the pages of Mutual Discord and will bring together Puerto Rican culture, Arizona, music, food, romance, incredible women, and, of course, BOOKS.
This isn’t just a book signing. It’s a release party. 💃📚🍹
THE EVENING
Doors open at 6:00 PM, and we’ll kick things off with a live author conversation featuring Liana De la Rosa and Neely Tubati Alexander from 6:15–6:45 PM.
After the conversation, the after party begins!
Spend the rest of the evening dancing, eating, drinking, bedazzling, shopping for books, meeting fellow readers, and celebrating Liana and Mutual Discord.

One of our favorite themes woven throughout Mutual Discord is recognizing the women whose accomplishments and contributions didn’t always receive the celebration they deserved.
So we’re starting the evening by making sure you get your flowers, too.
Every attendee will receive a flower hair clip at check-in to wear in their hair or clip onto their outfit for the evening.
Throughout The Duce, you’ll also discover stories celebrating incredible women and their achievements.
