About this Event

Session runs 3 hours with 2 short comfort breaks and time for questions at the end. We will cover how the process works, the criteria, the forms, how to write a support letter, types of evidence, how to advocate for someone in an assessment or tribunal, and more!

These sessions are designed for people who would like to support people making Personal Independence Payment applications. We hope to give you confidence to provide disability advocacy throughout the PIP process including applications, reviews, supporting letters, in-person or telephone assessments, mandatory reconsideration, and tribunals. These sessions are not intended to provide direct support to people currently navigating the PIP application process. (Though we hope to run these in future!)
Covid: We are taking covid precautions, please do not attend if you have symptoms of a transmissible illness. We ask folks to do an LFT beforehand if possible, and to mask if you are able. We will have both LFTs and masks available.

If you have any questions, or requirements to make the training accessible to you, please email [email protected]
