A slow-flow, heart-opening practice designed to soften the space around your chest and reconnect you to your own tenderness. Through breath, movement, and presence, we cultivate kindness toward ourselves and remember that the love we seek externally already lives within.
This practice invites us to become aware of the way we speak to ourselves, gently replacing self-criticism with loving, supportive inner dialogue. Through intentional mantra and guided reflection, we consciously fill the heart space with our own nurturing energy by offering ourselves the care, reassurance, and compassion we so freely give to others. Let your heart be seen, supported, and held from the inside out.This class is accessible for all levels of practitioners as Sarah offers many options and moments for you to turn up the dial of intensity or mellow it out as we honor how we have arrived on our mats. The class is accompanied with a live soundscape by Cody. He holds space for us by weaving together beautiful rhythms and sounds for us to move and breathe to.
We cannot wait to meet you on the mat!
Please bring your own mat and water bottle. There will be a few extra mats available to use in case you forget yours. There are two different class times that you can register for: 6:00- 7:00 p.m. or 7:30-8:30 p.m. The Muttart Conservatory will be open from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. for everyone to enjoy the other pyramids.
