Join us on the 2026 Mustang Stampede to the Woodward Dream Cruise to Dearborn, MI.
This event is for Members of the Mustang Owner's Museum. Not a member of the Museum? We would love for you to become one and join us on this cruise.
The excursion is Aug. 10-16 and will be the 4th event starting back in 2021.
We had 30 Mustangs in 2024, including 6 vintage ranging from 1965-1978 (several were trailered).
This year we’re looking for 10 Vintage Mustang’s from 1965-1985 (Carbureted) with another 30 modern Mustangs for 40 total.
I have the Hagerty Drivers Club / Road Side Assistance on board again as a sponsor.
We will get FREE towing / Road Side Assistance to an area repair center should one of our Pony’s develop issues.
This is for all Participants traveling up and back!
I plan to drive my ’66 Shelby GT350 to lead the Vintage Group this year, stopping every 1-2 hrs max for gas and leg stretching!
You may also tow your vehicle if you choose, but you’ll be missing out on the fun of driving these Pony’s in their purest form!
The ‘vintage’ group will be running around 60 mph for the trip so everyone can stay together.
We've secured room blocks in Dayton, Ohio, and Dearborn, Michigan, just as we have on previous Stampedes. Both properties offer ample parking for Mustangs as well as trucks and trailers.
After registering for the cruise, participants will receive an email with hotel booking information and reservation links.
Please note that you can join us on the cruise at any pointe. You do not have to start in Concord, NC at the Mustang Owner's Museum.
Registration Details
The registration fee for the 2026 Mustang Stampede is $150 per vehicle (museum membership required). This fee helps offset planning and logistical expenses and includes:
• Official 2026 Mustang Stampede event T-shirt
• Commemorative goodie bag
• Individually numbered 12"x20" magnetic custom placecards
These custom placards help identify our group on the road and add to the fun as the Mustang Stampede travels through multiple states on its way to the world-famous Woodward Dream Cruise.
Whether you're joining us in a classic carbureted Mustang or a modern performance machine, this is a week of great roads, great cars, and great friendships. We hope you'll be part of the adventure!

Sunday Aug. 9th
MOCSEM’s 51st Annual Mustang Memories Show at the AAA Michigan Central Offices in Dearborn.
THIS IS NOT ON THE ITINERARY AS THE DATE HAS BEEN MOVED TO THE PREVIOUS SUNDAY BEFORE WE LEAVE
Anyone is welcome to leave early and attend but on your own accord.
https://www.mocsem.com/mustang-memories (Info. for anyone that wants to arrive early and attend on their own).

We’ve had a slight change to the schedule from the past years as the MOCSEM Mustang Memories Show has been moved to August 9, the weekend before our departure.
We considered adjusting our itinerary and leaving on Friday, August 7, to include both the Halderman Museum and the Mustang Memories Show. However, after reviewing the logistics, we felt it would make for an overly long trip and take away from the overall experience.
As a result, we’ve decided to keep the cruise schedule as originally planned. The only adjustment is that we will wrap up the adventure one day earlier and begin our journey home on Sunday, August 16.
Over the next few weeks we will be sharing important updates with registered participants. Be sure to watch your email for event information, travel updates, and some helpful vintage Mustang tips to get your car road-ready for the 700-mile trek to Detroit.
We’re excited about this year’s Mustang Stampede and look forward to reconnecting with familiar faces, creating new friendships, and making unforgettable memories along the way.
A special thank you goes to Mark Young, Mustang Owner’s Museum Lifetime Charter Member #0022, who is coordinating and leading this year’s cruise. Mark did an outstanding job organizing the 2024 Stampede, and with his leadership, the 2026 journey promises to be another incredible adventure!
