Mussorgsky’s Pictures from Exhibition

Presented by Hidden Treasure Music Festival

Hidden Treasure Music Festival presents pianist Daniel Beliavsky at the iconic Steinway Hall in New York City.

Join Beliavsky for a lecture-recital in which he will discuss and perform Modest Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition. Inspired by the works of Mussorgsky’s friend, architect and artist Viktor Hartmann, this celebrated suite explores the piano’s extraordinary expressive and technical range, standing as one of the nineteenth century’s most distinctive large-scale masterpieces.

In keeping with Hidden Treasure Music Festival’s mission of fostering dialogue across artistic disciplines, cultures, and traditions, this lecture-recital celebrates music’s remarkable ability to transcend boundaries and bring artistic worlds together.
