About this Event
Assalamu Alaykum!
We are hosting a Marriage Event on Saturday 16 May, 2026 at Collingwood Hall.
Time: 4 PM to 6 PM
The nearest station is Whitechapel Station.
Ethnicity-specific event for Bengalis and people open to marrying Bengalis.
The goal of our events is to create a safe and halal environment for our Muslim brothers and sisters to potentially meet their spouse.
We anticipate an equal ratio of females aged between 26-32 and males aged between 30-36.
Please bring ID with you.
The schedule of the event
-We’ll conduct ice breaker Q&As amongst the group.
-Refreshments
-After a short break, everyone will get a chance to speak to each other during 121’s.
About us
We are a couple hosting the event and have hosted 10+ events over the past 2 years matching dozens of people.
While we encourage interracial marriages in line with the Islamic mindset, we recognise that parents—particularly first-generation migrants to the UK—may not feel the same way due to cultural expectations and concerns around family integration. At the same time, individuals may naturally lean towards those of a similar background due to familiarity and shared values.
Therefore, our ethnicity and age-specific events mean that things can progress faster and in a way Bengali families are accustomed to.
Sisters have the option to bring a mahram.
