Muslim fostering and supported lodgings information event
About this Event
Join our fostering and supported lodgings discussion!
Crawley Muslim Network and West Sussex County Council invite you to learn how you can help Muslim children and young people in our community.
We need more Muslim foster carers in West Sussex. Children who come into care often feel worried, lonely, and unsure. Being with someone who understands their faith, culture, and traditions can help them feel safe and supported.
If you are a Muslim individual, couple, or family, you may be able to make a real difference in a child's life.
Many Muslim children and young people in our care are:
- Aged 16 and over
- Boys and young men
Could you provide a safe and caring home?
Could you help a young person stay connected to their Islamic faith, culture, and identity?
Come to our friendly information session and find out more about:
- Fostering children and young people
- Supported lodgings for young people aged 16+
- The pay and support available to carers
- How to start your fostering journey
You will hear from:
- Our Fostering Recruitment Team
- A local foster carer who will share their experience
You can ask questions or simply listen. There is no pressure and no commitment. We just want to share information and help you understand how fostering works.
Together, we can help provide safe, loving homes for children and young people in West Sussex.
