Muskegon Monet Garden Work Session
So many of us have wandered through the garden, taken family or senior photos among the flowers, or just admired its beauty as we wandered over the bridge. It would be amazing to get some community members to come show them some support and appreciation for all their work over the years!
The message below is directly from Jean’s post:
I am a member of Lakeshore Garden Masters, the organization that takes care of The Monet Garden of Muskegon. We have taken care of this garden for 26 years. We are all getting older and have fewer people to help. I have previously asked the community to assist us at our work sessions and we do get 1 - 2 people, but could use more.
If we don't get more helpers in the next few years, we won't be able to keep up with all the work. I know the community supports our garden, but the kind of support we need are extra people to help with the upkeep.
We have a garden work session from 9 to 12 on Tuesday, July 21.
Please consider helping and share this with others who might be able to help. Even those with out a lot of garden experience can come because we can show you what needs to be done.
