First brought to life 51 years ago, this beloved musical captures Muskegon at its formative moment—when grit, ambition, and character shaped a city on the shores of Muskegon Lake. Now, with newly prepared music, renewed energy, and a cast that embraces both tradition and vitality, this production invites audiences to rediscover a story that is as meaningful today as it was in 1975.
Audiences can expect an engaging, one-hour theatrical experience filled with humor, romance, memorable songs, and larger-than-life characters—including heroes worth cheering and a villain worthy of a proper boo.
