Philadelphia-born neo artist Musiq Soulchild will perform a special up close & personal concert at The INKwell Harbor Club Rooftop in New York. Soulchild's unique and smooth sound became integral in the music scene since his debut album, Aijuswanaseing, was released in 2000. Musiq Soulchild has had many successes throughout his career. The City of Atlanta presented the musician with the honor of having March 10th officially Musiq Soulchild day, and he released Feel the Real, a double length album praised for its varying musical influences including rock, big band and of course, soul.
The Grammy nominated r&b star is known for seamlessly fusing jazz, funk, soul and hip hop and began on the road to musical stardom by beat boxing and free styling on the open mic at local clubs.
