Sault Ste Marie resident, Mary Jo Jenkins has been undergoing treatments since her breast cancer diagnosis last spring. Following chemotherapy in the Sault, all of her appointments have been in Ann Arbor at the U of M hospital. There continues to be lasting effects of a double mastectomy and reconstruction, chemotherapy, and ongoing appointments and this mom and wife is currently out of work and her husband Joe has had to take a substantial amount of time off of work to transport and be with her through it all. 🙏🏻
This power couple is near and dear to our hearts. She, a positive force, despite everything she has gone through and continues to go through during this second breast cancer diagnosis 😢. Joe, guitar player from Project 906, trying his hardest to hold their family of five together. 🙌🏻
We have enlisted the help of band friends locally, as well as from the west end of the U.P and northern lower Michigan, to provide 9 solid hours of live music on March 22nd.
