  Speaker Bio

Emily Donovan, a 23-year-old from Sutton, MA, is a passionate advocate for local music communities. After studying Communications and Business at UMass Amherst, she has spent the past three years running Local Mojo, a brand dedicated to uplifting local music scenes through live events and social media. With extensive experience in event planning, she has organized numerous shows in both Amherst and Boston, including Mojofest, a grassroots music festival expected to draw 3,000 to 5,000 attendees in April.

Beyond Local Mojo, Emily has worked at Fenway Recordings, a Boston-based artist management company, where she contributed to projects for renowned artists such as MGMT, The Cure, The Cribs, and members of Pearl Jam and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

In addition to her work in music management and event production, Emily is also a DJ and an emerging producer with a deep passion for dance music. Her love for music and travel has taken her to festivals and clubs worldwide, continuously inspiring her creative journey.
