Simon and Emilie's Musical Theatre, Jazz and Commercial Camp will run from Tuesday 26 August - Friday 29 August 10.00am — 4.00pm each day in CAST. Studios, Morpeth. Simon and Emilie are going to be teaching students a condensed version of one of their cruise ship shows so this is a great opportunity to work on material from a cruise ship show with performers who have been onboard performing themselves! We will showcase our work to family and friends in an informal performance on Friday 29 August at 4pm.
A little about Simon . . .
Simon is a graduate from the SA Performing Arts Centre, graduating in 2016 Simon has had to fortune to work in many different fields. From Holiday Parks, to Disneyland Paris, to Touring Theatre shows, to Cruise Ships and even the West End. Not only on the stage but Simon has been successful in several TV opportunities, most recently being the North East Bus advert. Simon has also taught at many performing arts schools up and down the country and is very excited to back teaching the students of CAST. this summer.
A little about Emilie . . .
Since graduating from ‘Addict Dance Academy’ in 2019, Emilie has had an exciting career of performing in feature films, multiple UK Tours and across the world on Cruise liners. Alongside performing Emilie has taught for the last ten years at various performing arts schools putting students through festivals and grade work. Emilie is extremely excited to be joining CAST. for this summer camp!
Important information . . .
The total cost of the Camp is £145. Students must attend the whole week (casual day bookings unfortunately can't be accepted).
The camp is suitable for students aged 4 - 18, and students will be split into age appropriate groups. The camp is open to students who don't currently attend CAST. too!
In order to enable parents to travel to work at their normal times, we are offering a breakfast club to allow early drop off between 8.00am and 9.45am for an additional cost of just £6 per day. Given that the children using this facility will be simply extending a day when they will be at bootcamp, this arrangement can be booked casually, for one or more days.
To book a place for the full four days, please email [email protected] with your request at which point we will generate invoices on a first-come-first-served basis. Once you have received your invoice, you will need to pay a £50 deposit per student from your invoice to secure their place. The remaining balance will be payable one week before the camp start date (Monday 18 August).
The deposit of £50 is non refundable, unless CAST. has to cancel the event for any other unforeseen reason. In such cases we will of course process refunds.
