Musical Melange: Aerie Trio 2

This is the eighth concert in the monthly series Musical Melange, taking place the 4th Sunday of the month at 2pm, from September 2025 to May 2026. The Aerie Trio was formed in 2018 to perform beautiful, challenging music across the ages. Some familiar, but just as often, seldom performed or new music ensures well rounded, interesting programs. From Haydn sonatas to Piazolla tangos, to 21st c premieres of new works, the trio presents exciting and delightful selections. The Aerie Trio recently performed a concert with on the ‘hat featuring music of living Canadian women composers. They currently present The Art of Harmonizing Music and Food with the best of Vancouver Island’s chefs. The members of the trio (Diane Berry, flute; Maria Wang, cello; and Kathryn Le Gros, piano and clarinet) are each accomplished and successful musicians who come together in a wonderful balance.
