Following the success of our Music Workshop Day last year, we are delighted to announce that the event is returning for 2026!Taking place on Saturday the 28th of March and this time to be held at Ponteland High School, our workshop offers a fun, relaxed and inspiring day designed especially for children who enjoy music and want to build confidence while playing or singing alongside others.

What to expect:
🎵 A full day of practical music‑making, with a concert for parents/guardians at the end of the session (10:30am–4:00pm)
🎵 Friendly sectional workshops led by our specialist music tutors
🎵 Opportunities to play and sing in groups, make new friends and grow in confidence
🎵 Sessions suitable for beginners through to more experienced players and singers
Children will take part in one of the following sectional workshops:
💠Beginner Orchestra with Mrs Hedley and Mr Robinson
💠Intermediate Orchestra with Mrs Chinery and Mr Francis
💠Advanced Orchestra with Mrs Stephenson and Miss Hetherington
💠Guitar Ensemble with Mr Robertson
💠Percussion Ensemble with Mr Doyle
💠Choir with Ms Hewison & Mr Burns
Sectionals are based on our Northumberland County ensembles, giving pupils the chance to experience ensemble music‑making in a supportive environment.

☑️Cost: £15.00 per child
☑️£12.50 for Northumberland Music ensemble members
☑️Subsidised places are available for those who need them
