It all started with a guitar riff I stumbled onto on a cheap acoustic guitar in my friend’s living room in 2005.
What began as a simple riff eventually became a song — seven years later. And then, somewhere along the way, we decided it deserved a full production.
Now, more than twenty years after that first guitar riff, ELEPHANT is finally complete — not only as a fully produced song, but as a music video.
And the story behind the song is just as important as the journey that brought it to life.
ELEPHANT tells my story — and the story of so many of us who have discovered our true identity in Jesus.
It’s about realizing that our identity isn't found in our past, our weaknesses, our circumstances, or in what others say about us. We know who we are because we know who our God is and what He thinks about us.
The video brings that story to life through real people from Terre Haute — people who have real stories, real relationships, and a shared history. Many of us have been walking together in the Kingdom for a long time. We've experienced life together, grown together, struggled together, celebrated together, and watched God continue to work in all of our lives.
We're all still a work in progress.
But we know who we are.
And we know whose we are.
This night is a celebration of all that God has done and continues to do.
