🎶 Music Therapy Class- Summer Series 🎶
DSAW-GB is excited to sponsor and organize a special summer Music Therapy Series led by Jessica Liederbach, MT-BC, NMT, NICU-MT, owner of Carousel Music Therapy. This 60-minute experience is for young children and their caregivers to connect, play, and learn together through music!
Music therapy uses music, movement, rhythm, singing, and interactive interventions to support non-musical goals such as communication, social skills, emotional growth, sensory regulation, and self-expression. For individuals with Down syndrome, music therapy can help build confidence, encourage connection with peers, strengthen language development, and provide a fun and engaging way to learn and grow.
Space is limited to 8 individuals per class. When registering, families are asked to sign up for all the classes they can attend.
Summer 2026 Dates/Times: July 13, 20, and 27
Ages 0-4 = Music Therapy 5:00PM–5:30PM + Playtime 5:30PM- 6:00PM
Ages 5-10 = Playtime 5:30PM- 6:00PM + Music Therapy 6:00PM–6:30PM
Location: You Belong Facility - 2960 Allied St, Green Bay, WI
Cost: Sponsored in full by DSAW; DSAW will also be providing snacks and water during the event for participating families.
