Examines the fundamentals of music theory including pitch and pitch class, simple meter and compound meter, scales including major and minor scales and diatonic modes, intervals, chords, and voice leading. This course is designed to be taken with Aural Skills I concurrently. Runs in conjunction with the credit class. ***Required textbook "Music Theory Remixed: A Blended Approach for the Practicing Musician" estimated cost $130.
