Uptown Brass—principal players of the Minnesota Orchestra—bring 17 years of global performance experience to an eclectic, high-energy program inspired by dance rhythms from around the world, featuring music by Leonard Bernstein, Astor Piazzolla, Paquito D’Rivera, and American spirituals.Ensemble members include Douglas Carlsen and Charles Lazarus (trumpet), Michael Gast (horn), R. Douglas Wright (trombone), Steven Campbell (tuba), and David Schmalenberger (drums/percussion).
This free-will offering concert supports Interfaith Outreach & Community Partners, which helps west metro families achieve stability through food, housing, and employment services. Sponsored by CircleRock.
