Border Voices’ next concert is on 19 January at 7pm, in their usual venue of the Priory Church, Leominster. They will be celebrating the work of Tomás Luis de Victoria, focusing on his 6-part Missa Dum Complerentur dies Pentecostes, first published in 1576. They will also present a selection of some of Victoria’s most moving motets including Super flumina Babylonis for eight voices in two choirs, and the hauntingly beautiful O Magnum Mysterium.
Admission is free with a retiring collection in aid of Leominster Priory.
