This performance traces Rossini’s journey from the intimate charm of his salon music, full of wit, warmth and irresistible melody; to the brilliant fireworks of his most iconic operatic arias.
From the playful adventures of La regata veneziana to the elegance of La Serenata, the electrifying showpieces of Il Barbiere di Siviglia, to La donna del lago and beyond, each piece reveals a different facet of the composer who made the world fall in love with bel canto.
Join us for an evening of sparkling vocal virtuosity, lyrical beauty and pure Rossinian joy with vocalists, Ong Geok Theng (soprano), Lim Yee Fen (mezzo soprano), Louis Ong (baritone) and Zhang Chi on the piano.
