Music Industry Monday: Careers Day Edition
About this Event
MIM 144: 2nd November - Alumni Panel with Dear Tash, Hannah Ledwidge and Trenton.
What to Expect
Music Industry Mondays (MIM) is a free weekly event series held every Monday, bringing artists, creatives, and industry professionals together with guest speakers from across the music industry. Each session explores a different area of the business - from artists and managers to labels, festivals, publishing, marketing, and beyond. Expect honest insight, practical advice, and real-world experience, followed by an open mic and open Q&A.
Hear from LCCM alumni working across different areas of music, from alternative rock and songwriting to multi-instrumental performance, composition and music education. Discover their journeys, the opportunities they’ve pursued and what working in the industry looks like beyond the classroom.
Meet This Week’s Guests
DEAR TASH
DEAR TASH is an alternative powerhouse pushing beyond the label of a “female-fronted rock band” to take control of their own identity and sound. Blending raw alternative rock energy with deeply personal storytelling, DEAR TASH is an evolving artistic project and a defiant statement of self-expression.
Hannah Ledwidge
Hannah Ledwidge is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, music educator and entrepreneur whose work spans punk, gospel, rock, jazz and hip-hop. Playing drums, keyboards, bass, electric guitar and acoustic guitar, she has performed at venues including Wembley Stadium, Jazz Café, the Duke of York’s Theatre in the West End and Park Avenue Armory in New York.
Her work has also taken her into theatre, television and live production, with credits and collaborations involving Broadway musical director Wendy Cavett, director Robert Icke, Almeida Theatre, Netflix, Ambassador Theatre Group and London Sync Ltd.
Trenton Harrison-Lewis - Live A&R Feedback
Following the alumni panel, Trenton Harrison-Lewis will lead a live A&R feedback session, giving students the opportunity to put their music forward and hear feedback on their tracks.
Come along to hear from alumni, learn more about working in music and get involved in a session focused on your own creative development.
