Children's Sevillanas | Flamenco with Maika | Willesden | First Class Free
About this Event
Let your child discover the joy of flamenco through music, movement and rhythm!
These welcoming weekly classes introduce children to flamenco through playful activities, clapping, footwork, arm movements and simple dance sequences.
We’ll explore rhythm and coordination, encourage creativity and build confidence — with plenty of fun along the way. No previous dance experience is needed.
When: Mondays, 5:15–6 pm, starting 2 November 2026, after half term Where: Harris Lowe Academy Willesden
Prices:
- Your child’s first class is FREE
- Four-class pack: £20
- Drop-in: £8
Four-class packs can be used throughout the academic year, so your child doesn’t need to attend four consecutive weeks.
Children should wear comfortable clothes and shoes that stay securely on their feet, and bring some water. No specialist flamenco shoes are needed to get started. If your children have flamenco shoes or flamenco clothing, they’re very welcome to wear them!
Classes are taught by Maika Jimenez Blanco, founder of Flamenco with Maika, with enhanced DBS clearance and insurance.
