We are adding a little twist to Music in the Park, or maybe we should call this one Music-AL in the Park!Manatee Performing Arts Center will present a multi-generational representation of performers as we celebrate 75 years of creating live, local theatre. This cabaret style revue will feature a variety of musical theatre songs from standard Broadway favorites to the latest current hits.
6-7 pm will feature performers from their current production of Kiss Me Kate along with their ambassador group. As well as members of their senior theatre troupe, DraMature, and several other veteran performer.
7-8 pm will feature their youth performers from camps as well as members of their Penguin Project, a mentor program for individuals with special needs.
As always, this is a FREE event. Just bring blankets or chairs. Food will be available for purchase.
