Celebrate Valentine’s Day at the Museum. A performance by acclaimed violinist Ilana Zaks will follow a tour of Side by Side: The Artist Couple Bernstein and Meyerowitz. The recital will draw from inspiration from the Museum’s current exhibitions, offering couples and singles alike an opportunity to indulge their love for music and art.
Zaks will play selections rooted in 19th- and early 20th-century Moravian and Czech traditions, illuminating the rich interplay between European folk music, Jewish heritage, and the immigrant experience. Fragments and Resilience invites audiences to experience music as a living dialogue across time and place—an evocative celebration of identity, memory, and the enduring power of art.
