Music in the Mountains - Marana Big Phat Band
The Marana Big PHAT Band plays the Trailhead Stage as part of Catalina State Park’s Music in the Mountains concert series. Three decades of hits — Chicago, Journey, Styx, the Eagles, Fleetwood Mac and more — rebuilt at big band scale, with the Catalinas right behind us.
WHAT TO KNOW
• The concert is free. Park entry is $10 per vehicle for one person, $20 for two to four — carpool and split it.
• Bring a chair. It’s lawn seating.
• Pack a picnic and something to drink. No glass, please.
• There’s no cell service or WiFi in the park, so screenshot your directions before you head out.
• It cools off fast once the sun drops behind the ridge. Bring a layer and stay for it.
GETTING THERE
The Trailhead Stage is at the end of the main park road, 1.5 miles north of the ranger station.
