For more than 250 years, communities across America have united, building the nation brick by brick and note by note. This summer’s “From Sea to Shining Sea: 250 Years of Sound” program commemorates the country’s semiquincentennial by tracing the rich history of American music through the ages. Our May performance features The Island Guys. With over 20 years of experience performing together, the steel drum band trio from Southfield, Michigan, specializes in genres like Caribbean, Reggae, Latin and more. Blending Calypso, Reggae, Soca, Salsa, Jazz and ontemporary Caribbean music, they immerse guests in the vibrant sounds of the island.
