Class Experience
Music FunTime is a preschool and young child music class now offered as a summer camp! Students who are new to the program can work their way through the first part of the curriculum in one fun and learning-filled week!
The structured, comprehensive curriculum incorporates music theory (reading staff music, rhythm, note values, time signatures, etc.) and application (playing rhythm instruments, keyboard, sing-along, music appreciation, movement). It accesses children's learning through their brain's 'play center,' using themed games, attractive visuals, and delightful auditory aids that make learning exciting and fun. Kids look forward to it!
At the end of the week, students will be able to take home instruments that they receive throughout the week to continue the fun at home!
If you're sending your student to camp, please make sure they are potty trained and can use the bathroom with little to no assistance. If students need assistance in the restroom, we request that you stay in the building to help your child. We have waiting areas and plenty of places to work or hang out for parents!
