Music from the Romantic Parlor: 19th-Century Songs and Sonatas for Voice, Pianoforte & Guitar
Early Music Missouri’s new season opens with an intimate salon performance of songs and instrumental works from the first quarter of the 19th century.
Charles Metz returns to our Mainstage concert series with his recently restored 1806 Clementi square pianoforte, featuring it in solo music by Clementi and Mozart.
Metz will be joined by soprano Samantha Arten and guitarist Patrick Rafferty for songs, solos, duets and trios that would have once filled parlors and salons across the continent.
