We will be performing our Art and Animation programme once again, at the wonderful Cygnet Theatre near Exeter Quayside. Alfie is excited because there is a grand piano to play on, and he is looking forward to putting it through its paces in Mussorgsky's Pictures From An Exhibition, which he has arranged for piano and all the other instruments the group can play.
We will also play music from key moments in animation history - music from Chicken Run, How To Train Your Dragon, Howl's Moving Castle, Snow White and Wallace & Gromit will all feature.
To tie in with some creepy examples of medieval art, we will play our version of Saint-Saens' Danse Macabre, and also 2 pieces of music written by Alfie that go with 2 original artworks by Dawlish artist Hannah Willson.
This will be an incredible display of musicianship, with a wildly varied programme. Tickets are extremely limited, so book now to avoid disappointment!
