This is a benefit show for Children's Mercy Hospital Cardiac Unit
It’s personal! Gail Simmons started this music event in a quest to raise funds for Children’s Mercy Cardiac Unit in recognition to the tremendous staff that helped save her two daughter’s lives! This annual music event is a small way to give back to the cardiac unit and help raise funds to ensure the needs of many, won’t go without! This night is for all to rock out for a rockin’ cause! Throw on your dusty tie, favorite band tee and come celebrate!
Performances by:
Haley Burke & the Hawks, an emerging rock/blues band with high energy, gritty riffs and soulful vocals, representing the KC Blues Society with recognition in the Youth Showcase Challenge in 2026.
Jessie Glennon Band, accomplished singer/songwriter who represents regional talent at the Kansas City Blues Society’s International Blues Challenge, blues/rock performer/band with gritty vocals and shredding riffs with Critter jammin out on drums with his flair, skill and contagious energy!
SuperNova, a high energy cover rock band that’ll put you in orbit, delivering a high-energy stage performance that covers multiple eras and various styles of rock music, designed as a mix of danceable hits, heavy riffs, and classic sing-alongs intended to keep you moving.
Bloodbone, local metal band ready to raise your blood pressure, striking heavy hooks, and prominent melodies.
Mad Machelle, high octane hard rock & metal cover band, bringing you the sounds of Ozzy, Zeppelin, Heart, Pantera & more.
Malikai, a local legend in the metal scene with some serious shredding, high energy, fancy footwork and vocals to make you rock out.
Stitch, powerhouse of hard rock, jaw dropping sounds, blending aggressive alternative metal riffs with deep personal themes; a mission to turning grief into metal," the project serves as a highly personal mission which aims to spread awareness and save lives following a tragic personal loss.
