Music for Bookshops with Cascadence

A new series featuring live instrumentals from the worlds of jazz,
ambient, classical, and lo-fi.
Pick a book off the shelf and stay for the music!
We kick off the series on Thursday, 9/17 with Cascadence: weaving
through the sounds and traditions of chamber music, modern jazz, and
experimental folk, these three dynamic composer-improvisers offer a
unique and heartfelt example of music for "strings trio". Caswell has
long been a sought-after violinist and collaborator, working with the
likes of Chris Potter, Brian Blade, and David Byrne; Davis has led
numerous projects (notably Aerial Photograph) combining string quartet
and large jazz ensemble lineups; Coyle is an omnivore of Jazz and New
Music concepts, with a passion for serving varied, ambitious roles on
the bass.

Each ticket includes seating and 10% off all purchases made in the bookshop during the event. The Hops/Scotch mobile bar will be on-site serving mocktails and cocktails.
