The White Mountain Voices is proud to present this workshop for area music educators and the community at large. The workshop is being provided free of charge and presented by our directors. The workshop will include three sections.
-The state of music in the North Country? What is music in our schools and community looking like? How is recruitment and retention going? What strategies can help?
-Alexander Technique is a practice used by professional musicians and dancers that focuses on healthy body posture and movement. Victoria Cole will be presenting an introduction on the topic.
-Career Options for musicians. The career field for musicians has diversified but still there are students who think they can only go into teaching or performing. James A. Rode will be presenting on the career fields now available.
