Music Classes | Summer 2026
Each curriculum is designed for maximum hands-on engagement. Children aged 8-11 years will learn to play on their own assigned individual instruments and the vocal class will begin working on a melody their first day.
At the end of this 6-week session, parents and loved ones will be invited to enjoy a group performance to applaud the progress of their students.
Give the gift of music this summer and watch your child(ren) THRIVE.

FAQ List:
Q. Who is the instructor?
A. Corey Wells holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Benedict College where he served as the Vice President and Business Manager of the Benedict College Concert Choir. He currently teaches music at East Lake Elementary for Orangeburg County School District and is in the middle of producing his own album for release within the year.
Q. Will my child need an instrument?
A. Beginner Piano students must have access to a keyboard or piano they can practice with at home. No instruments are required for Percussion Foundations or Vocal Discovery.
Q. When is the group performance?
A. The group performance will take place on July 7th at 6pm at The Clubhouse in Holly Hill. Each registered student will receive two tickets to assign to their family members (for each class they are registered for).
Q. Is this a drop off program or do parents stay?
A. This is as collaborative as you would like to make it. Parents are welcome to drop off or stay to "sit-in" on the lesson. We will have chairs available in the room for parents. However, we do ask that all cell phones be put away (entirely) and that parents remain seated for the duration of class. We do feel parent presence can benefit learners, as they will be able to know what their child is learning and how they ought to be practicing at home between classes.
