Come and experience a brand new way to enjoy a classical piano concert. 'Music Around the World' will introduce you to the music of six different composers from five countries, including Italy, Norway, and the U.S.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
š¢We are thrilled to announce the launch of MUSIC CANVAS, with the first concert scheduled for October 19, 2024.
When we first envisioned MUSIC CANVAS, our goal was to create a platform that truly reflects the heart and soul of each musician involved. Imagine a blank canvas, where every brushstroke is a note, every color a different emotion. MUSIC CANVAS is exactly thatāa space where musicians paint their interpretations of a shared theme, resulting in a unique and personal experience each time.
Unlike a traditional classical concert, where the performer plays the music from beginning to end, this concert allows performers to share background information, fun facts, or personal insights about each piece and its composer before playing, and to guide the audience through each thoughtfully designed section of the concert. We hope each audience member will be able to fully engage with the concert.
Our first concert in the series, Music Around the World, will take place on October 19th in Pasadena. Curated and programmed by Dr. Hanbo Ma, this concert will explore the rich musical traditions of five different countries. Each section of the program will transport you to a new cultural landscape, where Dr. Ma will guide you through the journey, offering insights into the composers and the stories behind the pieces.
This concert is more than just a performance; itās an invitation to explore, to feel, to connect, and to leave the concert with a sense of joy, eager to hear more classical music. With limited seating, we encourage you to secure your spot and be part of this very special evening.
