Music at the Mansion: Pafford Burke & The Uptown Society Band

The Friends of Long Hill Estate and the Long Hill Estate Authority are excited to host their Music at the Mansion series again this year. All of the concerts will begin at 6:30pm. The grounds will be open for food trucks and picnicking at 5:30pm.
Please Note: There is limited parking at the Mansion. General parking is at at Mercy High School, and 1740 Randolph Road. The Mansion parking is reserved for handicap guests only. ALL vehicles will be directed to Mercy High School when Mansion handicap parking is full. Concerts will be held in light rain, but cancelled with the proximity of electrical storms that may endanger both guests and musicians.
Enjoy food from our participating food trucks or you may also bring a picnic dinner if you wish!
Please note that the Mansion is closed during the concerts. There are port-o-potty’s located on the west side of the lawn by the garage and at the rear of the overflow parking lot. There is a 10 minute intermission and the Mansion grounds close 30 minutes after the conclusion of the concert.
Closing out our concerts series on July 22nd this year is Pafford Burke & The Uptown Society Band. Pafford Burke is a tribute act to the legendary Roy Orbison performed by Pafford Burke & The Uptown Society Band. This tribute takes you on a journey from Roy’s earliest hits in the 1960’s such as “Only The Lonely” and “Oh, Pretty Woman” to his remarkable 1980s comeback with the Traveling Wilburys and his posthumous “Mystery Girl” album. Coupled with authentic instrumental arrangements and lush vocal harmonies performed by a dynamic and vibrant 7-piece band, Pafford’s classically trained voice channels the essence of Orbison while infusing it with his unique flair, blending nostalgia with a fresh, contemporary sound.
