Happening in the Chippewa Valley Museum's front lawn, Carson Park. Bring your own seating.
Music starts at 1:00p with Kelzmazel making a first-time appearance on the museum lawn. Maple Ridge Band, a returning favorite, will keep the music going until 3:00p.
The museum's log house and schoolhouse will be open as part of this free music event. Paid admission is required to see the logging camp and indoor museum exhibits. In the event of rain, music will move indoors.

Klezmazel has occupied a unique niche in the Eau Claire music scene as "the only klezmer band in the Chippewa Valley" for over a decade. The group has been here longer than you might think; the core group -- Zenon Wojcik (accordion), Richard Schuldt (drums), Todd Johnson (Tuba), and Allen Keniston (clarinet) -- have played together for close to 12 years. During that time, 20 or more additional band members have joined the group before moving on to new stages in their musical or professional lives. For the past three years, Tim Catarina (euphonium), Rob Kuchta (violin), and Kalee Hansen (clarinet), have added their talent to develop a truly authentic sound. As a klezmer band, their focus is on playing for life celebrations -- weddings, birthdays, bar/bat-mitzvahs, and community events -- featuring the folk music of Eastern Europe as well as the time-honored polkas, schottisches, and waltzes of middle America. Their tunes are lively -- if they make you want to dance, do it!
Maple Ridge Band is a group of talented musicians who have been entertaining non-stop since they decided to form a bluegrass band in 2018. The group plays traditional bluegrass and old-timey fiddle tunes. Band members have their roots in Eau Claire, Chippewa Falls and Menomonie, Wisconsin.
