The consort members come from a variety of professional backgrounds (medicine, music, university teaching, library sciences, astronomy, biology, spanish, etc.) and play a diverse set of instruments, including early strings (e.g. vielle, viol, mandola, mandolin, lute, laud, harp, hurdy-gurdy), recorders, reeds (cornamussen, kelhorn, dulcian, crumhorn), percussion. In addition, we add period vocals to much of our music.
