Saturday, November 16, 9am-11amDSAMT, ABA therapist Julie Mayer, and Belmont University have partnered with Belmont University's College of Education, Music Education, and Music Therapy Programs to offer a fun time of music, movement & friendship for children with Down syndrome ages 5 to 12. Overviewed by Belmont's College of Education, participants in this inclusive program will sing, move, and play instruments, working together and individually to make beautiful music, play games and learn a little something along the way. In addition to being a lot of fun for participants, Music and Fun benefits Belmont students in learning more about individuals with Down syndrome and helps them in their careers after graduation. Parents can enjoy a nice 2-hour break, too.
