About this Event
Miami's next generation of artists is ready to take the stage — and the screen.
On May 13th, Vizcaya Museum and Gardens opens its doors after dark for a one-of-a-kind evening celebrating the bold, boundary-pushing work of Miami's emerging talent. At the heart of the night: an original audiovisual performance born from the collaboration of three powerhouse local programs.
Students from New World School of the Arts' Visual Arts program showcase stunning original animations, which will be projected the indoor Main House Courtyard. These are accompanied by scores composed by Miami Dade College String Ensemble students — and performed live by Miami Pixel Symphony, the beloved local nonprofit orchestra known for turning imaginative music into unforgettable live experiences.
Every piece draws inspiration from Headwind, Vizcaya's 2026 Contemporary Arts Program exhibition by artist Susanne Schirato, which explores the tension and beauty between nature — sky, earth, and ocean — and the way we move through it.
The result is an evening that feels both intimate and epic: original music, original visuals, and a historic setting that makes it all hit harder.
This is Miami — young, creative, and completely homegrown — doing something genuinely special.
Doors open at 6:30 PM. Performance begins at 8:00 PM. Tickets start at just $10. Early bird pricing available through April 29th.
Come out. Support local. See something you won't forget.
