Mushroom Medicine Workshop

Ages 18+: Learn how we can forage and utilize wild medicinal mushrooms here in New England such as, Chaga, Lion's Mane, Reishi, Turkey Tail, and more. While we learn about:

How to find and ID medicinal mushrooms in the wild,

How to best harvest and prepare the wild mushrooms for medicine

Specific nutritional and medicinal qualities of these mushrooms

We will be brewing and sipping native Reishi tea! Learn how to make tincture and tonic from medicinal mushrooms which can help modulate our immune systems against viruses, disease and auto-immune-related conditions. We will then:

Create our own Mushroom Tincture starter with your choice of native wild mushrooms

Which each of you can take home in a provided glass jar, along with written instructions and mushroom info. sheets. As a special feature this workshop will be given at the Spicy Water Distillery in Millbury, MA and your tincture starter:

Will include the hand-crafted grain alcohol spirit that Spicy Water distills right on location!

21+ to consume any alcoholic beverages, as they do have a full bar with tasty cocktails for purchase.
