Mushroom Log Workshop (2/2)

Learn how to grow shiitake mushrooms in your own backyard! We’ll teach you how to prepare and inoculate your own log, promote mushroom growth, where to store, when and how to harvest, and more. All materials will be provided and you’ll go home with your own inoculated shiitake mushroom log! This event will be hosted at the DPS Hub Farm, an outdoor facility for environmental education owned and operated by Durham Public Schools. We will include time for a brief tour of our facility.

Please note, ticket price is per log, not per participant. Multiple participants can work together on one log with one ticket, or purchase multiple tickets if you'd like to take home more than one log.

All tools will be provided, but if you have a drill, 5/16" bit, angle grinder, or hammer please bring it.
