Join us at Fifth Season Gardening Asheville for a hands-on Mushroom Log Inoculation With Plug Spawn Workshop! Learn how to cultivate your own mushrooms by inoculating logs with plug spawn. This in-person event will take place at 4 South Tunnel Road #450.

Feel free to bring your own power drill, photos of potential installation sites for your mushroom log (we can help you decide which site at home will be idea for mushroom "fruiting"), and a friend!

You'll be guided through start to finish inoculating hardwood sustainably, locally harvested logs or "bolts", the basics of mushroom identification and hardwood identification. This by far our community's favorite workshop, so sign up now to reserve your spot and grow your own delicious mushrooms!
