Join Museum, The Shire of Stonegate, and the Kingdom of Artemisia for a celebration of the Fall Equinox! The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) is an educational nonprofit dedicated to recreating pre-17th century culture as it should have been. During the Mabon Festival, visitors will experience:
• Warriors fighting in combat armor
• Artisans demonstrate varied activities (medieval music and sewing)
• Artifacts and reproductions from many cultures represented in the SCA
• Children can try on the garb
• Coloring pages to create an illuminated manuscript alongside one of our scribes
• Museum Gallery Free Admission
