Get ready for a month full of optical tricks illusions and Halloween fun at the Museum of Illusions DC! Whether you’re coming for our thrilling happy hours or our family-friendly activities there’s something for everyone this spooky season.

Boo & Brew Happy Hours

Every Thursday in October 6 PM - 8 PM

Step into a world where reality gets twisted! Join us every Thursday evening for our exclusive Boo & Brew Halloween Happy Hour. Explore the Museum of Illusions’ exhibits with a chilled drink in hand and enjoy a night of mesmerizing fun. The entire museum will be decked out with Halloween-themed illusions lighting effects and eerie music.

Halloween Scavenger Hunts for Kids 

October 26th to November 2nd 10 AM – 11 AM 

Calling all mini-detectives! Kids aged 12 and under can join in on our Halloween Scavenger Hunt exploring the museum to find hidden Halloween-themed stickers. As they search for clues among the illusions they’ll learn fun facts and take pictures of their discoveries.

How It Works: 

Find the hidden Halloween stickers throughout the museum 

Snap photos of the stickers and share them with the gift shop host to claim your prize

Bonus Activities for Kids:

Illusion Face-Painting Station: Kids can transform into their favorite spooky characters with our on-site face painters!

Craft Corner: A place where kids can make their own optical illusion-inspired Halloween masks and props to take home.

The museum will be open from 10AM to 8PM Sunday through Thursday and from 10AM to 9PM Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, the museum is open from 11AM to 6PM and guests are encouraged to purchase tickets online ahead of their visit. https://moiwashington.com/contact-us/
