MUSAS is a grassroots artist series celebrating five years of uplifting Latine, queer, and women-fronted artists through music, art, and community founded by Chicago's own Museica and The Braided Janes,
This Skyline Sessions takeover features neo-folklore, tropi-alt rock, Afro-Dominican soul, contemporary dance, and an all femme-fronted Latin alternative soundtrack on Chicago's iconic lakefront.
Headlining Artist: Renee Goust "La Centaura del Norte" Award-winning Mexican singer-songwriter and activist whose neo-folklore blends rancheras, cumbias, and corridos with feminist and LGBTQ+ storytelling, reclaiming traditional Mexican music through a proudly queer lens.
The Braided Janes Internationally acclaimed bilingual tropi-alt rock trio recognized by NPR, PBS, and Mexico's Ministry of Foreign Relations, known for fusing Latin rhythms, alternative rock, and socially conscious songwriting into a powerful live experience.
Wiliana Veras Dominican singer-songwriter and producer whose genre-bending sound weaves together Afro-Dominican roots, R&B, jazz, blues, and rock into deeply personal songs exploring identity, love, and resilience.
