Step into the intrigue of a bygone era with the Murder Mystery Party at Ford House, returning for two exclusive nights only, October 9 and 10, 2026, at 7 p.m.Inside the historic Main Residence, you’ll become part of an interactive story inspired by Eleanor Ford’s own legendary murder mystery party, held in the mansion during her lifetime.
Professional actors set the stage as you and your fellow guests unravel clues, untangle secrets, and try to solve the mystery. These are the only two opportunities in 2026 to participate in this unforgettable experience within the Main Residence, surrounded by original art, artifacts, and history.
The theme and storyline for the 2026 Murder Mystery Parties will be announced in late summer, before the start of ticket sales. Due to the historic nature of the home, guest numbers are strictly limited to protect interiors and collections.
Tickets often sell out within hours of release — in fact, in past years, they have sold out in less than 10 minutes. If you wish to attend, plan to be online and ready to purchase as soon as tickets become available. Friends of Ford House enjoy a three-day pre-sale for the best chance at securing tickets before the general public. If you are not yet a Friend, we recommend joining before tickets go on sale.
Accessibility Note: Please note that the event requires access to the second floor of the Main Residence, which involves stairs. Guests with mobility challenges will receive alternative first-floor clues to allow full participation.
